one of my most memorable Christmas was when my daughter was young and it was my first Christmas as a single mom. We did things simply but really felt the spirit of Christmas stronger that year than any other I can remember since

i like cdj's answer..i don't really have a christmas that stands way out more than another,i try and enjoy them all and for one reason or another each is special in it's own way and memorable...
the one that really stands out for my grown kids now is when rita was 3 and darrell 5,was in 1985.My ex husband went out the side door and around to the kids bedroom with a big jingle bell..starting roaring out merry christmas and laughing ho ho ho jingling those bells..they rushed to the window giving him time to get back in and into the bed before they roared in screaming they heard santa and rudolphs bell ringing as they flew away! ;)
they were talking about this last night and how real it sounded,it made them really beleive in a magic santa with 8 reindeer that could fly off your roof....;)
they thought this was so neat and now they plan to copy it...
merry christmas everyone.. and NO...it did not mess with their minds..i am surprized when i hear things like this and people say it is wrong and misleads..PLEASE.....they grow up!!!!
