January 4, 2010 I had a massive heart attack that I never saw coming! Days before I had experienced shoulder, back and jaw pain, but thought it was my fibromyalgia flaring up! Little did I know I was fighting for my life! After a brief visit to the ER, the doctor there sent me home with "fibromyalgia pain". You guessed it! A missed diagnosis from the ER! By the time the next day rolled around I guess I was in agony! I don't remember anything of that 2nd day. I only have eyewitnesses to tell me what happened. I even came home and wrote a post about my experience in the ER. And I don't remember writing it! After I came home in February and had the strength to start blogging again, I found it!
But I'm dithering again, aren't I? The very sweetest moment in my life occured when someone brought my beautiful daughter, Gracie, in to visit me! When I felt those little arms of hers go around my neck, I knew then that life was worth living and I just had to "make it" till she was old enough to take care of herself. Yes, I've been back in the hospital numerous times since then, but always, always I will have that feeling of pure, unconditional love that only a child can give. This one's for you, Gracie. I love you, my darling sweet pea!
