Oh, yes! I found her! Another kindred soul! My friend, Elizabeth! And I know as surely as I know my own name that I have been searching for her for a very long time! After you read Elizabeth Essex's words, please comment! I'd love to show her you care, too!
Reaching The Invisible
When you know, you know. There is so much more than what people see. And you wish you could explain what you know but words do not...can not describe it. Something bigger in the world...bigger THAN the world. Something that is so close within grasp, you feel your fingers brush against it, barely skimming it really but never fully touching it.
You look around and you feel like life is a dream, like life and everything in it..you can put your hand through it. It's an illusion. And in life, you try to find others who KNOW. Who understand what you know...and when you do, it is like a long lost reunion. It's in every breathe, every move, every emotion..the knowing.
The closest word to describe it is enlightened. You look at life as a game and this is jsut one toss of the dice. Little things draw your attention; the way the sun feels, the way the wind blows, why things work the way they do, how people react to certain things. Often, you look at life and feel like a stranger. Realtives, family, homes, places in your life...but it only happens for a split second, as if you were put into someone else's life, and before you really grasp it, click, everything is back to normal.
A lot of the times, you can not envision how you are to others. Because who they see, is not who you ARE. You don't fit in and you know it. You have always ALWAYS felt like you had a bigger destiny, like just around the corner, everything will change. Like you are holding your breathe, just waiting for it. Waiting for whatever it is that makes you smile and look at the world the way you do.
And sometimes in your life, you find someone who knows...knows what you know. And it is like mending a tear in your soul. Like they are the invisible that you reached out for long, reached for so hard...that person is sitting in your hand, saying hold me. You can breathe now. I suppose the term would be soul mates.
But I also believe in having more than 1 soul mate. Sometimes soulmates come into your life for a lifetime, sometimes for only a month. But each one impacts your life, changes you in ways no one would understand.
